Euros Lyn to Direct Finale

Modern-day veteran Doctor Who director Euros Lyn is shceduled to direct the final two Doctor Who specials that mark the end of the era of Tenth Doctor David Tennant, it has been revealed.

The news was revealed as part of the press release covering BBC America’s Torchwood presence at the New York ComicCon 2009 which features a panel session with Euros Lyn alongside actress Eve Myles – with whom Lyn worked in his first production block for Doctor Who back in 2004 on The Unquiet Dead. Lyn has also directed:

  • The End of the World
  • Tooth and Claw
  • The Girl in the Fireplace
  • The Idiot’s Lantern
  • Fear Her
  • The Runaway Bride
  • Silence in the Library
  • Forest of the Dead

As you can see these are some of the most well-known episodes of NuWho – what better choice for the end of the Tenth Doctor era than one of the series’ best directors?
