DW Director Pens Marvel Title

Doctor Who’s continuing link with the world of comics for the second time in one week!  Great stuff!

This time, it’s Joe Ahearne, director of several Season 27 tales starring Christiopher Eccleston and Billie Piper, in particular Bad Wolf/The Parting of the Ways.

Ahearne is fortunate enough to be writing the forthcoming Fantastic Force series from Marvel, which tells the sotry of a future team of superheroes lead by the son of the Incredible Hulk.

This week we’ve already reported on John Barrowman’s work on a strip for Torchwood Magazine, while Paul Cornell’s recent work on the Captain Britain title has gone down a storm in the comic world, and with Ahearne the man at the helm of the BBC drama Apparitions, expectations are quietly confident for this title.

Best of luck with it, Joe!
