Torchwood ‘Exclusive’

The Coventry Telegraph, in their ‘Geek Files’ section reveals some secrets Torchwood Series 3 about in the second part of an interview with Ianto Jones actor Gareth David Lloyd:

"It’s far more explosive and the team are a lot more vulnerable.

"It’s one story over five days, a mini-season. Every episode ends on a cliffhanger. We will go back to the usual format for Season 4."

I pressed him for more details about what would happen in the mini-season. He said: "Everyone in the team has to make a sacrifice.

"The team are stripped of their creature comforts, they lose a lot of their technology through certain predicaments, all they have is themselves and each other.

"There are a lot of big stunts and special effects too."

Sounds wonderful… but does "We will be back…for Season 4" mean that Ianto will also return and that the show has definitely been recommissioned for another year? Well?

C’mon, BBC, spill the beans!
