Russell T. Davies Gets A Job!

The BBC has revealed that RTD will be a creative consultant on one of two new dramas to be made by BBC Wales.

The Fabulous Baker Boys will follow the story of the threat of closure of a valleys factory and its affect on the community. RTD will be creative consultant and fellow Who alumnus Helen Raynor will one of the writers.

Crash! will follow a group of young Doctors at their first jobs in a hospital in Cardiff where they will have their mettle tested and have to make life and death decisions on a daily basis. Tony Jordan (ex-Eastenders head honcho and one of the writers on the sooper-dooper Life on Mars) will be lead writer.

And speaking of Wales, flighty weathergirl Sian Lloyd wants to be in Doctor Who!

Reported in numerous syndicated places, such as This Is Swansea, we have the wonderfully important and earth-hsattering news that TV weather girl Sian Lloyd wants to appear in Doctor Who.

Now that’s ambition, for you. She also thinks Stephen Fry should be the next Doctor.
