David Tennant Could Return

David Tennant’s appearance on BBC Breakfast News today will be memorable for several things, not least his slightly uncertain demeanour and refusal to speculate on the identity of the Eleventh Doctor.

Most intriguingly however, was this, when asked if Tennant might return to the show.

"Who knows what might happen in the future?… The door isn’t necessarily closed forever."

He also of course recognised that the role is something that he will be long remembered for, describing it as "one of those parts that sticks with you."

There’s more at the BBC News website, as well as a video of the David Tennant interview.
