James Strong at Easter

Digital Spy has reported on the Doctor Who Magazine news that director James Strong will helm the Easter 2009 Doctor Who Special.

The Easter special comes to us courtesy of Russell T Davies and Gareth Roberts (the latter’s previous work including The Unicorn and the Wasp and The Shakespeare Code), with James Strong’s previous Doctor Who work includes the well respected The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit and Voyage of the Damned.

"We’re so happy that he’s returning to the fold. James has handled Daleks in sewers, hordes of Adipose and Satan himself, as well as a Titanic with Kylie on board."

"But believe me, none of that will have prepared him for what we’re about to unleash in this next script!"

Looks as though there is plenty to get excited about… of course we won’t know anything about the adventure for quite a while!
