Classic or Modern Poll

The Guardian website is running a Doctor Who poll – based on whether you prefer classic Who or post 2005 Who.

After some consideration, I surprised myself and voted for the modern incarnation of the series.

Do you like your Doctor Who in black and white with strongly-plotted stories, wobbly sets, model spaceships and crude CSO special effects. The era of UNIT, the old control room, Leela, the Ice Warriors, the Celestial Toymaker and the Key to Time.

Or a you a fan of the revival with its dazzling state-of-the-art effects laden with humour and pathos. The era of Jackie, the Slitheen, the Face of Boe and the psychic paper?

Interestingly, The Guardian website also has a Doctor Who portal.
