Christmas Plot Twist

Russell T Davies recent interview in the Sunday Express has been exhoed around the web as he declared David Tennant fit to play Doctor Who until the actor is 70 (not very likely, however much fans may want that) but also of interest was reference to a plot twist coming soon to a pine needle-caked TV set near you.

This plot twist is apparently of such astonishing momentum that the very reveal of it right now by Davies or anyone else could set the Earth spinning off from it’s own axis (it says here).

“For the first time we have two men together as leads. It’s a small focused idea, a little different”.

“There is a major plot twist at the end… We’re even thinking of not having a press screening, because we don’t think anyone will be able to keep it secret”

No press screening? For real, or because we now all know that Russell actually hates these events (despite him doing very well to look as though he is enjoying answering the same questions in the same way over and over again)?

So a twist. In a story apparently called The Next Doctor.
