Tennant Time Out Award

David Tennant has won an award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series thanks to the readers of Time Out magazine.

Time Out New York’s second annual "Shadow Emmys", are reader awards recognizing the outstanding actors and programs that for whatever reason failed to receive actual Emmy nominations.

Also notable in the awards is the presence of British actress Anna Friel for her role in Pushing Daisies.

An important award for the Doctor Who and Hamlet star, then, and one that can do no end of good in raising the series’ profile in the United States of America.

But then, why does Doctor Who need to have a better profile in the USA…?
