Doctor Who News no image

Cam Back?

Cambridge University are attempting to revise their stuffy, elitist image – by promoting their ancient colleges as shooting locations perfect for shows like Doctor Who.

The Univerity – home to the troubled Shada production in 1979 which was never completed due to BBC strikes – have been encouraging students to formulate plots for soap operas and Doctor Who adventures which involve the establishment breeding ground.

It’s all an attempt to encourage (appropriate) teenagers to opt to study (network) at the university.

"It’s about challenging myths. People think Cambridge is an expensive place to study but bills can be lower"

Possibly the lest compelling argument ever?

Good luck to them, however. We haven’t seen the Doctor wandering around a University grounds in years!
