Don’t forget, the Vworp Vworp! Comic Book Adventures in Time and Space takes place in Manchester this October at the Lass O’Gowrie from 10am – 5:30pm (doors @ 9:30am).
Among the guests (subject to committments) are names such as Paul Cornell, Gary Russell, Adrian Salmon, Lee Sullivan, Ian Edgington, Steve Dillon, John Freeman; each will be the member of a panel discussing various aspects of their work in Doctor Who comic-strip fiction – mainly in Doctor Who Magazine – in the welcoming surroundings of a real traditional pub.
The Panels include subjects such as history of Doctor Who comicbook stories, monsters, the effect of the series effectively ending in 1989, the American IDW series and more, and the day is set to end with a charity auction around 4.40pm.
Black Scrolls editor Gareth Kavanagh will be taking charge of one of the panels, while Kasterborous‘ own Christian Cawley (that’s me, hi!) will also be overseeing one.
It’s set to be a great day with lots of unique insight from the teams behind the various high points of Doctor Who illustrated box fiction, and if you’re able to make it, I thoroughly recommend that you do! Learn more from The Lass O’Gowrie website
If you’re planning to turn up, I’ll be at the bar!
