Sam Watts has time to blog

The composer of the soundtrack to The Sarah Jane Adventures has time to blog, it seems, and has recently provided a status update on his work for Series 2.

"I’m sitting in my brother’s studio finishing off our first mixing/mastering session for series two. By lunch time today we should have the first six episodes (yes that’s right, half the series) completed. I’m dead chuffed! It will put us ahead of schedule mixing wise, although I have yet to start writing the second half of the show"

Shouldn’t he be busy with a keyboard? A mic and a tape recorder sampling flushing toilets to slow them down for sound effects? Something?

Has Murray Gold got a blog? That’s the level you should be aiming for Watts, not text messaging your pals and leaving voicemail messages.

Who has time to email their crew while in the middle of intricate and high profile jobs? Watts it all about?

He’s even got a bloody MySpace page (where there’s some nice previews of tracks from Series 2 of The Sarah Jane Adventures)!
