The Stolen Earth Preview

The next installment of Doctor Who sees the Doctor and Donna returning to Earth…

Earth’s greatest heroes assemble in a time of dire need, in the penultimate episode in this series of season 30 of Doctor Who. Can the Doctor’s secret army defeat the might of the new Dalek Empire?

With battles on the streets and in the skies, the Doctor and Donna must brave the Shadow Proclamation to find out the truth. However, a fearsome old enemy waits in the shadows…

David Tennant plays the Doctor and Catherine Tate plays his companion, Donna Noble. Also expect to see Billie Piper, John Barrowman, Eve Myles, Lis Sladen and virtually anyone else you can think of who appeared in more than one episode of Doctor Who, Torchwood or The Sarah Jane Adventures.

Also expect to see the true identity of "Dave Ross" revealed. This promises to be "cross-over" TV at its best. Forget Alien vs Predator, Daleks vs Cybermen in Torchwood Tower, the Justice League of America, The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen or that Marvel Comics period when the Avengers and the X-Men compbined.

This will top them all.

The Stolen Earth and the concluding installment Journey’s End will make previous get togethers like The Five Doctors look like a quick meetup down the boozer…

The Stolen Earth airs at 7.10pm, BBC One, this Saturday.
