Enterprising knitters and people with some clay lying around have created a raft of Adipose cuddly toys, with various types selling on eBay.
The woolen handknitted version utilises a cardboard insert to it stand and is stuffed with child-safe stuffing, but the eyes are unsuitable for under-3s.
Meanwhile, there is the clay version, where the seller states:
Sold individually – if they’re popular, I’ll make some more!
Closer inspection reveals them to be lumps of plasticine with pen holes.
