RTS Nominations

For the third successive year, Doctor Who has been nominated by the Royal Television Society in the “Best Drama Serial” category.

Notable also is David Tennant’s nomination for “Best Actor” for his role of a car crash victim who awakes from a long coma in Recovery, but of most interest is possibly The Sarah Jane Adventures‘ nomination in the “Best Children’s Drama” category.

Doctor Who will be pitted against E4′s Skins and Jimmy McGovern’s acclaimed The Street.

The Sarah Jane Adventures plays out against BBC’s Desperados and CITV’s My Life As A Popat; curiously no mention of M.I. High

The awards take place on Wednesday, March 19 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, and are hosted by television presenter Eamonn Holmes.
