Love Letters

This autumn will see the publishing of Doctor Who: The Writer’s Tale by Russell T Davies and journalist Benjamin Cook (Doctor Who Magazine).

Described by publishers BBC Books as

“It’s not only the ultimate ‘Doctor Who’ book, it’s a celebration of the creative process and a love letter to great television.”

…the book will provide a look behind the scenes at the family drama, in a collection of correspondence between Executive Producer Russell T Davies his friend Cook.

The book will concentrate on Davies’ work on the currently-in-production fourth series of “Doctor Who”, while recalling experiences from previous series and other shows Davies has written and created.

The release of this book is set to coincide with the announcement that Davies is stepping down as head honcho. ( (c) Kopic)

Sounds like a fascinating read, I’m looking forward to it already.
