Launch Date Confirmed!

And it’s April 5th, as we finally determined yesterday!

Confirmed by the CBBC’s Newsround, Doctor Who will return in little over two weeks, as David Tennant and Catherine Tate embark on a 13 episode marathon of time travel, alien monsters and intrigue – and you can guarantee that afterwards, nothing will ever be the same again!

Speaking exclusively to Newsround, Russell T Davies revealed something about the first episode, Partners in Crime – it features

“…the most unusual monsters we’ve ever created…the sort of creature we’ve never tried before,”

Sadly, in order to keep a lid on spoilers and other revealing stuff, CBBC’s Totally Dr Who won’t be returning.

A long-term Doctor Who fan, Christian grew up watching the show and has early memories of the Graham Williams era. When he’s not bossing around the news team, Christian is a freelance writer specialising in mobile technology and domestic computing, and enjoys classic rock, cooking and spending time in the countryside with his wife and young children.
