Meat Previewed

Well, sort of, as some of you will have seen this already by now! You see things have been awfully busy here at Kasterborous Towers, what with our new butler and all.

Anyway, Meat! Torchwood Series 2 Episode 4 heavily features Kai Owen as Gwen’s fiance Rhys, who makes some interesting discoveries…

Rhys discovers the truth about Torchwood and becomes part of the team as they investigate a mysterious alien meat supply. With Rhys in increasing danger Gwen is under pressure like never before. Will Rhys go too far? Will Jack ask too much of him? And can Torchwood save the alien from being used as cheap meat?

Meat is written by Catherine Tregenna, (Out of Time, Captain Jack Harkness) and directed by by Colin Teague who recently brought us Sleeper.

There’s plenty more on Meat over at the acers Torchwood.tv, including this overservation:

Supposedly, it’s a great episode for Kai Owen, who gets to show his acting en force. Less successful, we’re told, is the story’s science-fiction element.

Hmmm…
