Doctor Who Cinema Trailer

Digital Spy are reporting that a trailer for Series 4 of Doctor Who is being displayed in cinemas across the country!

Series 4 of Doctor Who is expected to be broadcast from late March, coinciding with the Easter Weekend as per the previous three series since the show’s return.

The trailer, running to 90-seconds, was arranged as part of a deal between the BBC and Carlton Screen Advertising, the company that manages adverts in cinemas across the country. It will be exclusively shown before new films at Odeon, Cineworld and Empire cinemas, So expect your Cloverfield to have an added dash of Doctor Who!

Naomi Gibney, head of marketing at BBC Vision, said: “This is a great opportunity for the BBC to reach new audiences with an exciting preview of the new series of Doctor Who.”

Of course this isn’t the first time Doctor Who trailers have been projected onto cinema screens – trailers for The Voyage Of The Damned were shown last December.
