To The Last Man Preview

The third installment of Torchwood Series 2 finally offers us some proper character-based drama, according to Digital Spy

To The Last Man apparently revolves around a young soldier from 1918 who unwittingly holds the key to saving the world – and Tosh falls for him.

The episode is by Helen Raynor (Daleks in Manhattan), directed by Andy Goddard and its scheduled broadcast is 9pm Wednesday January 30th, BBC Two, with a PG version the following evening at 7pm.

And it looks like having a city with a rift in time and space is more dangerous than we had imagined…

With an old hospital haunted by ghosts from 1918, a crisis foreseen by Torchwood 90 years ago is about to reach its climax. Time zones are colliding, but, with life-and-death decisions to be made, will Torchwood be able to stop an explosive end for the city of Cardiff?
