New Series Novel Signing Event

This Saturday (January 12th) sees the London Forbidden Planet Megastore play host to a book signing featuring authors Trevor Baxendale, Simon Guerrier and James Swallow

They will be signing their new Doctor Who books Wishing Well (Trevor Baxendale), The Pirate Loop (Simon Guerrier) and Peacemaker (James Swallow) from 1.00 to 2.00 pm.

Retailing at £6.99, Forbidden Planet currently list the titles at £5.99. Signed copies can be pre-ordered, with the deadline for this service 12pm on Friday 11th January.

These novels are the latest in a ling stretching back to 2005, and while they don’t feature the same event atmosphere of their predecessors, they are however far more accessible to a wide audience and thematically and tonally in keeping with the current incarnation of the television series.

You might think though that 6 or 7 quid is a bit steep for a Doctor Who book – you might therefore be relieved to find the same books for for around the £4 mark on Amazon…
