Airfix Doctor Who

The reborn Airfix kit model makers company has released its rumoured Doctor Who set, which features the TARDIS, Tenth Doctor and Martha Jones.

Along with model kits based on Wallace & Gromit and traditional wartime fare, Airfix have released this rather dashing kit of the Doctor and Martha standing outside the TARDIS.

Airfix report that the kit will has been available since late December 2007 and it should be found in all good toy stores, model shops and online. They also recommend anyone interested in purchasing the kit to contact your local stockist before making your journey to avoid disappointment.

The recommended retail price is £24.99 and the kit is also available at Airfix.com.

Airfix was recently saved from closure following when Hornby – makers of model railways and Scalextric – saved the company with a purchase of Airfix and other Humbrol assets for £2.6 million.

What better way for a British institution to return than with a classy looking Doctor Who kit?
