Doctor’s Angels

Reports from a certain notorious red top suggest that the Doctor Who Series 4 “Doctor-lite” episode will feature Donna Noble, Martha Jones and Rose Tyler

It seems that Rose (Billie Piper), Martha (Freema Agyeman) and Donna (Catherine Tate) will spend the episode attempting to fend off an alien invasion together with the help of the TARDIS – and possibly other companion characters – but without the Doctor.

Fact or fiction? Well, Billie Piper and Catherine Tate have as we know been spotted on set together, and David Tennant recently explained that he wouldn’t be appearing in any scenes with Piper – and that it would be obvious why when the episode is broadcast…

One of those blabbermouth BBC insiders said:

“The chemistry between the three assistants is electric. It is so strong that we realised The Doctor could be in danger of getting in the way. So it is left to the girls to sort things out, having to save civilisation and The Doctor himself.”

Sounds like Charlie’s Angels in space…
