Tate Turns Up

So – am I bovvered? AM I BOVVERED that Catherine Tate is gonna be in Series 4 of Doctor Who, returning as Donna Noble to David Tennant’s Doctor?

I ain’t bovvered. Let’s see how it turns out.

Tate herself has been turning out for work recently, reports icwales.co.uk, and has been sighted by fans as she and Tennant shoot the next series of Doctor Who, the scenes in question being filmed in Cardiff’s Churchill Way.

Fan Nicola Rees, 26, said, “We’re used to seeing her as the scruffy teenager in her TV show. She looked like a million dollars today – like something out of Sex and the City. It was a real thrill to see her. Everyone has been saying we are really glad we ‘bovvered’ to come along.”

You can’t beat catchphrases, can you? Fantastic!

So the Doctor and Donna will take trips to Rome next year, and according to Doctor Who Magazine 388, we’ll be seeing Donna’s parents again. Howard Attfield and Jacqueline King will be returning as Geoff and Sylvia Noble, adding to a Series 4 cast list which seems to be giving us palpitations one minute (Catherine Tate, Sarah Lancashire) and raising the spirits of the fans with casting moments of genius such as Christopher Ryan and Christopher Benjamin.

Early Kasterborous predictions that Series 4 would be as up and down as Series 2 may yet be proved wrong…
