Last of the Time Lords Buildup pt1

Loads to get through in this two-part build up to the final episode of Doctor Who Series 3, so let’s start with the basics.

Note the following details from the BBC Programme Information page, including the timeslot!

Doctor Who – Last Of The Time Lords Ep 13/13

Saturday 30 June

7.10-7.55pm BBC ONE

www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho

Earth has been conquered and the Master rules supreme, with the Doctor a helpless prisoner, in the final episode of Russell T Davies’s Doctor Who.The entire human race has been reduced to slavery, as the mighty warships of a new Time Lord Empire rise from the ashes. Only Martha Jones can save the world…

David Tennant plays the Doctor and Freema Agyeman plays his companion, Martha Jones. John Barrowman and John Simm guest star.

You see although the timeslot is listed here as 7.10 to 7.55, other sources dispute this, with FreemaAygeman.com 51.5 minutes and the Gallifreyan Embassy noting that the running time is 7.00 to 7.55. This is confirmed here at the BBC What’s On… notice also the Doctor Who Confidential start time.

The BBC are keeping The Last of the Time Lords very close to their chests, with very few promo images available and only one trailer, which you can see at the Official Doctor Who News page.

There are also a selection of the available promos available at the CBBC Newsround minisite to make up for the lack of expert analysis from Lizo, however, including a shot of Martha back on the Master’s sky fortress, a man called Millgan, Lucy Saxon and a very butch looking John Barrowman – and not a new picture of the Doctor in sight. Speaking of which, anyone else not convinced by the addition of John Barrowman and John Simm to the already established promo images of the Doctor and Martha? Even the lighting isn’t convincing!

Stay tuned part two of our Last of the Time Lords Series 3 finale buildup, when we’ll be tracking Freema Agyemn’s whereabouts over the coming days…
