Christmas Kylie!

The rumours regarding sexpot songbird Kylie Minogue and an appearance in the Doctor Who Christmas Special continue to grow, wiht latest rumours suggesting she’ll be in Wales in July for filming.

According to icwales.co.uk, Kylie has booked a suite in a “top Cardiff Hotel”:

An insider on the BBC Wales hit show said: “Kylie will be coming to Cardiff some time next month.”

Speaking of Australia, Doctor Who Series 3 kicks off there on June 28th, reports News.com.au, and is joined by the animated spinoff serial, The Infinite Quest:

Doctor Who will begin its third season on the ABC on Thursday, June 28, with a movie-length special, The Runaway Bride, starring British comedian Catherine Tate, before moving to its regular timeslot at 7.30pm on Saturdays.

There will also be an animated Doctor Who coming soon, voiced by the latest Doctor, David Tennant.

Freema Agyeman, Adjoa Andoh and Reggie Yates are reading audiobook versions of the latest offerings from BBC Books, reports the Official Doctor Who site. The Last Dodo is read by Freema, Wooden Heart by her scary mother and Sting of the Zygons by her reliable brother.

MFX Replicas are out in force this Saturday June 16th from 11am to 3pm

at the Trafford Centre branch of Selfridges alongside the Hyde Fundraisers.

You’ll also be able to see The Absorbalof making a guest appearance from the Museum along with several exhibits from Hyde Fundraisers such as K-9 and The Sycorax Leader!

There will be photo opportunities with some Dr Who characters and Pudsey Bear will be popping along to say hello!

Finally, it seems that Mr Saxon still thinks he’s going to win the upcoming election (next Thursday, I believe?), but then again politics doesn’t really have anything to do with Doctor Who, does it? Still there’s some interesting posts on the blog for his vague policies, as well as a comment by one Iris Wildthyme…
