Christmas Invasion Teasers and Photos

You can smell the roasted chestnuts, the mince pieces and the turkey can’t you? Christmas is close, and that means that Doctor Who is too!

The BBC certainly think so – their Official Doctor Who site is currently crammed with new spoiler-free pictures from The Christmas Invasion, as well as of course the teaser trailer. The splash screen has also been updated, to feature The Doctor backed by either Rose, the TARDIS, Mickey and Jackie, Harriet Jones or a pair of sinister Santa Claus’!

New pictures are available too, featuring the Tenth Doctor Who and his companions as well as his trusty TARDIS.

And don’t forget, if you’re in the UK you can watch the teaser trailer on tv tonight!

SFX.co.uk are asking readers to send in their memories of Doctor Who for a new feature, and ask for photos of readers in costume as a Doctor Who character as well as memories of the show’s original run.

Galaxy4, the online Doctor Who and sci-fi merchandiser, currently has a new range of full colour Doctor Who attire – childrens Doctor Who pyjamas, a Dalek t-shirt and a TARDIS t-shirt, each for a very reasonable £12.99 plus p&p.

According to icwales.co.uk, the next series of Doctor Who will feature a dog! They feature an article about Martin Winfield owner of the Rockwood Dog Training of Caerphilly and mention that:

Last week he took a Yorkshire terrier on the set of Doctor Who – Billie Piper, pictured below, is obviously a dog lover, she couldn’t stop petting it.

Finally, unitnews.co.uk have reviewed the Dalek Battle Pack, and given it the thumbs up. The pack they bought featured the Ninth Doctor figure, which from initial inspection appears to actually resemble Christopher Eccleston and not series producer Phil Collinson.

Watch out for the squirrels, by the way…
