Doctor Who DVD & Books Update

Released this month from BBC Books are the new Ninth Doctor novels: The Clockwise Man (by Justin Richards), The Monsters Inside (Stephen Cole) and Winner Takes All (Jacqueline Rayner). A further three releases are planned for September, whic will feature the characater Captain Jack – Gareth Roberts’ Only Human, Justin Richards’ The Deviant Strain and Steve Lyons’ The Stealers of Dreams.

Also recently announced is Doctor Who: The Legend Continues. This is an update of the incredibly lavish coffee table book by Justin Richards which was originally released in 2003 to coincide with the 40th anniversary of Doctor Who. This new version will of course include features and pictures the new Doctor Who.

Also released this month of course is the fantastic DVD issue of The Claws of Axos which stars Jon Pertwee as the Doctor and Roger Delgado as the Master; meanwhile 1985s Dalek thriller Revelation of the Daleks starring Colin Baker as the Doctor and Terry Molloy as Davros is to be July’s DVD release.

His favourite stories are Inferno, The Seeds of Doom and Human Nature (although The Empty Child, Blink and Utopia all come close).
