Magazine News

Part one of an interview with Russell T Davies appears in the current issue of SFX, alongside interesting comment surrounding a film proposal from 1991 which hoped to star a gentleman named Tom, a nice roadmap of the development of Doctor Who from cancellation to resurrection and some lovely pictures of Billie Piper and Christopher Eccleston – and RTD himself of course!

The first part of the RTD interview focuses on his being linked with Doctor Who prior to the shows commissioning, and reveals that Episode 2 won’t be ready until March – as little as two weeks before broadcast!

SFX is also running Doctor Who: An SFX Collection, which is due for release on March 9th and includes a free CD.

Following on from the success of the previous Complete Doctor specials, DWM has just released The Complete Seventh Doctor. The special follows the same pattern as the previous releases, includes the audio and novel entries to the Seventh Doctor oeuvre, plus it includes an afterword by Sophie Aldred. The Complete Seventh Doctor went on sale February 17th.
