Sun Prints New Series Dalek

UK red-top tabloid The Sun has published photographs from the new series, at least two of which are from the Rob Shearman-scripted Dalek episode. We know that the majority of – if not all of – the scenes were filmed back in October when The Sun originally printed a picture of the gold-finish Dalek and its operator. This knowledge, added to the apparent distorted quality of the pictures suggests that the images printed are in fact from a preview screening.

The first picture depicts Billie Piper as Rose Tyler beside the Dalek with its blue-lit eye stalk; the second image depicts a Dalek’s mutated innards; the third picture is a little blurred and shows a flesh-coloured alien with dark eyes.

The Sun also describes the show as “the new, ninth series”…
