BBC Books News

The BBC’s Official Doctor Who site has published a statement from BBC Books regarding an amendment to their submissions policy. While not entirely unexpected, it confirms that the policy of accepting unsolicited novel proposals has been put on hold indefinitely as BBC Books concentrates on putting in place a Ninth Doctor novel series.

This is of course news which follows on from Big Finish productions’ hold on new submissions. While awaiting news of a new licence to produce original Doctor Who audio drama, they have had no choice but to put a hold on unsolicited submissions.
