Horror of Fang Rock DVD anounced

The 2005 release schedule from the BBC DVD collection begins with Tom Baker’s Horror of Fang Rock, due January. The Season Fifteen opener sees The Doctor & Leela land on a remote island off the English coast, as strange occurances start to happen after witnesses on the Island see a strange light fall from the sky, that light turns out to be a Rutan a sworn enemy of The Doctors other arch enemies, The Sontarans.

Extras on the disc include a featurette on Terrance Dicks ‘Terrance Dicks – Fact & Fiction’ a 36 minute feature, a 5 minute ‘The Antique Doctor Who Show’ that shows some of the shows past memorablia in the form of a mock up of the ‘Antiques Roadshow’.

Theres also ‘Paddy Russell – A Life in Television’, a 14-minute featurette based around an interview with Paddy Russell, photo gallery, production subtitle notes and commentary from Louise Jameson (Leela) and John Abbot (Vince) and Terrance Dicks.

A long-term Doctor Who fan, Christian grew up watching the show and has early memories of the Graham Williams era.
